Interior Motives
Thank you to my bobinskaya @Nina for inspiring me always with your recs bc I have actually been really obsessed with these lately. Snarky in a way that doesn’t make you feel bad and fun to play along with, Interior Motives invites two guests to play along with host Ben Mora to guess the age, gender, sexuality, and location of the submitters based on a photo of their bedroom. With three submissions per episode, the show takes up about an hour (so I don’t feel like a chud who’s addicted to short form video content) without feeling like a time suck.

“as someone who loves Forming Narratives and Making Assumptions based off of very minimal amounts of information, this entire series guessing the age/gender/sexuality/location of someone based on their room design is extraordinarily important to me”

“My favorite game show and a great thing to put on with friends. I dream of having my room judged and identities speculated by Ben Mora and his impeccably chosen guests…ideally Julio Torres and Kay Poyer”
Sophie B
“Queer coded Room Raiders in which a panel of guests investigate the room of a stranger and have to guess the age, sexual orientation, gender, and location of the anonymous subject. Particularly recommend the episode with Hari Nef and Juliana Huxtable.”
