The Fall

Unfair to rank this because it was a rewatch for me, but it is seriously a marvel that this movie got made. Shot in over 20 countries, some locations we only see for less than a minute of screentime!!!!! Just beautifully shot. Amazing colors. The costumes. Lee Pace. The ending makes me ugly cry, snot-nosed, open mouth sobbing. It’s amazing. I am on a mission to get everyone to watch this.

“First of all... Lee Pace. Full stop. Second of all, this is genuinely a masterpiece in its grand vision, but also in the tiniest subtle moments shared between Lee's character and the little girl, Alexandria. It's an epic and heartbreaking tale that WILL awaken something inside you, unless you're a robot.”
