Travel Hack: Postcard Album Trick

Before you leave on a trip, buy a small 4x6 photo album (the kind that is just pockets). Then, let your kid loose at every postcard rack you pass. Postcards are cheap and small and a kid spinning a rack for two dollars = a kid who isn't begging for the $40 stuffed animal three aisles over. You come home with a full album showing all the stops on the trip. I love looking at our postcard books! You can also slip in tickets or other paper goods you collect along the way. Some places even have free postcards to add!
