and all the super common industrial design contraptions that come along with itβ¦.is something i learned about once i became a parent. all the ways we use βgearβ to restrain and confine and compress and also monitor babies. smart cribs, play pens, ankle monitors, straps, bucket seats..no thank you! so weirdly common though. pictured here is my toddler navigating the lower pools of a waterfall on his own.

see and hear so so much of this - touched on it briefly with my first post that was more focused on the shift from societal failure > personal failure - that parents are pressured into purchasing solutions for problems that don't or shouldn't exist
