Cool/weird children’s books? God help me, I can’t take another lesson. Give me stories! Give me imagination! I REPEAT: NO LESSONS ALLOWED (ages 3-6)

“I love Barbara Cooney of Miss Rumphius fame and I am smitten with her illustrations for Roxaboxen. The book is about imaginary play, outdoor play and worldbuilding at its finest. I love the ways the kids all play in this fantasy world they’ve created from essentially a stretch of dirt with rocks, glass, and sticks. I just love this one ❤️”
