The *OG* MSR Pocket Rocket

I used both the new and old versions of the Pocket Rocket during the summer I was getting into backpacking a couple years ago, and realized I loathed the updated design. Specifically, it was a lot more difficult to confidently balance a pot of boiling water on the updated one, which seems somewhat unsafe if you ask me… The original version was discontinued in 2017, but I found mine locally from a guy on Craigslist back in 2020, and — I’ve checked before recommending — it’s still available on resale sites.
