Touristy but worth it. Nabbed a copy of Pride and Prejudice with an intro by my one true queen, Dolly Alderton, that I’m telling myself isn’t available in the US to justify the weight it’s adding to my suitcase.

“i'm a massive nerd about the writers/artists living in paris in the 1920s, so i know this place is a classic AND touristy, but it also really lives up to the hype. sometimes there's just something about taking a second to soak in a place's aura!”

“The line is a bummer but understandable. If you have a book-loving teen they will enjoy being inside. Grab a beautiful edition of a Jane Austen or another keepsake book. Bouquinistes de la Seine are just across the way so you could let them be and wander to the river-side booksellers.”
