Everything you allow is something you encourage

Remember that every behavior you allow is something the dog can and may interpret as behavior you encourage.

It's so cute when your pup jumps up to greet you when you come back in! But will it be as cute when they're bigger? Or if they do it on an elderly family member or neighbor kid? Teaching your dog how to wait for an invitation to do a certain behavior is invaluable!
