desktop folder called “you’re doing a good job”

My version of this is a giant document called “nice things” where I copy and paste these sorts of messages. I have my computer set to open this doc every time I turn it on so I see it first thing.

with notes from people I’ve interviewed, friends, bosses, strangers telling me they appreciate my work or think I did something well (this is part of why it’s great to send thank-you notes to people about their work, everyone should have this folder as antidote to self-doubt)
