one of the ways I’m turning into my mom with age is touching all fabric and criticizing the feel. unsurprisingly, she’s right! gradually replace your wardrobe with cotton, wool, silk, cashmere, denim, linen. much of mine is from goodwill or eBay, doesn’t have to be expensive

Once you make this change it is almost impossible to tolerate synthetics. It’s one thing I really don’t mind being a little snobby about.
