I just learned through a random Wikipedia deep dive that some of the stars and makers of this movie received keys to the city of Los Angeles because this movie promoted LA locations so well and creatively. 😆

“500 Days of Summer has its faults, but it was such an era-defining movie for me, and even still, I love to watch it when I want a healthy dose of twee in my veins.”

“Another romance story but also, it’s different. Great cast, creative storytelling and unique ending that leaves you optimistic despite things not ending how you wanted.”
