A white slipcovered couch for the family

I know it sounds bananas but you can take the slipcovers off and bleach them. You can also use color safe bleach watered down on a rag to spot clean. I have had the same white slipcovered Pottery Barn couch for 20 years. An entire bottle of red wine was once spilled on it -oops! I was able to get it out completely.
