Heating pad for the plane

I once had an ill-timed flight a few days after an abdominal procedure that left me with gnarly stomach cramping and a newly formed anxious attachment to my electric heating pad. After worrying about how uncomfortable the flight would be, the lightbulb went on: I could roll up the heating pad to go in my carryon and plug it in on the plane. I arrived at my destination warm and relaxed. I now rarely board a plane without one. Have a cozy flight.
