Perceval knives
First tried these knives at a restaurant in Kyoto and we were obsessed. Had to have them in our home. It's a weighty knife that just FEELS like a steak knife.

gorgeous!! and I love when something is so good in a restaurant that you make note of it (lift the plate to look who it's made by). and ofc you found this in Kyoto. Japan is magic.
Agreed! When the whole experience is a vibe: the music, the tactile experience, the food..its what makes an object magical and transportive. We even got the restaurant name engraved in these knives so we can always remember the experience and how it made us feel.
