A Wizard of Earthsea

“An outstanding first book in significant series. "Wizard of Earthsea" follows young Ged as he enters a school for wizards and through his bravado unleashes a personal demon he must confront. The world Le Guin's spins is fascinating, her character's are magnetic, and the philosophy of magic intensely poetic. I first read this book (and 5/6 books in the series in 2025) and expect I'll be re-reading”
