Reading Genesis

This book completely altered how I consider the Bible, not just as an historical or theological text, but as a living, breathing work constructed intentionally with layers upon layers of gripping psychodrama. One of Obama's favorite writers, Marilynne Robinson beautifully unlocks the first book of the Bible in a transfixing manner for theists and non-theists alike.

She may be one of the greatest American living novelists; I'm excited to read another of her non-fiction works.
@carotuohey
and I definitely need to read more of her fiction!
