Bloedel Conservatory: A small tropical glass covered botanical garden filled with amazing plants and birds. Quail, parrots, and other tropical birds live here. It's warm and lush so it's great in the dead of winter, but if it's a rainy day or a cool morning, head here.

Stanley park totem poles: My 3.5 year old absolutely loves the totem poles at stanley park. Also a good opportunity to teach them a little about first nation history!

lynn canyon: Spend a day or afternoon at Lynn Canyon: suspension bridge (that’s free opposed to the Capilano Suspension Bridge), cute ecology centre for families, endless trails to explore- Rice Lake is a nice short and flat loop, swimming spots, waterfalls, and End of the Line General Store for popsicles!
