I have no recipe to offer here! But if you find yourself in Northampton, Massachusetts, go get yourself some granola. I used to go to school nearby and at the holidays, my family insisted that I import as many bags of it back to California as my suitcase would allow.

Olive Oil Granola (nyt)

This recipe has ruined all other granolas for me. I skip the brown sugar and half the maple syrup. Also skip the dry fruit at the end. Occasionally sub for different nuts and add extra seeds. The olive oil, coconut chips and maples syrup and salt are such a good combo.
