Stay at either the new Delmar Mystic Hotel, right on the Mystic River for a more luxurious stay, or The Whalers Inn to stay in the middle of the action and meals provided by James Beard Nominated “Best New Chef NE” at Shipswrights Daughter.

Rent a paddle board and take it out onto the Mystic River, or charter a cheap but private boat for a cruise around the coast. Vice versa, you can catch a free leisurely tugboat 90 minute ride from the Mystic Seaport Museum.
