Paula's Choice Toner and Exfoliant: After decades of neglect / being a guy who really just showered and didn’t worry about much else I had just resigned myself to the state of my pores. One day it occurred to me that maybe I could like, Take Steps, and started putting Paula’s Choice (a) toner and (b) exfoliant on my nose and cheeks after showering and after like a month it made a noticeable difference in my pores. I just put a few drops of each onto my fingertips and rub ‘em in. Happier with my face. Ymmv of course!

Clinique Cleansing Balm: Not exactly an oil, but it has a similar but smoother consistency to coconut oil (which I used to use on my face). It's a makeup remover and cleanser in one which I love - i like the idea of having products that work extra hard so you don't need a million different things.

This is without a doubt the best make up remover and cleanser I have used, it literally removes every inch of foundation and gunk and grime like nothing else i've tried can. Not cheap, but lasts for ages and is worth every cent in my opinion!

Massage an oil cleanser into your face for 5 straight minutes: doesn’t have to be a fancy one (you could use straight up jojoba oil). it feels like an insanely long time, but the combo of the oil + massage really moves gunk out of your face in (I think) a gentler way than clay etc and also feels nice!

Try a clay mask!: Clay masks balance and cleanse, pulling dirt from your pores and tightening the appearance. Pores on your nose are actually tiny hair follicles, natural openings where oil reaches the surface of your skin. When oil and dead skin cells build up inside them, they can look larger or darker. Using a clay mask to tighten these holes, keeping them clean and choosing a mask with oils (grapeseed or sunflower are good choices) for oily skin will help.
