What can’t Carson Ellis do? She’s an amazing artist and illustrator who has a signature style but also can create artwork that is so singular and different. IDK, I think she’s phenomenal. This insect book is written sparingly in bug language but it’s so easy to interpret and convey the emotion of the scene to the audience. I love this one.

“Written and illustrated by Carson Ellis It doesn’t matter that there are no ‘real’ words in this book, you and your kiddo will get the plot 😆 It’s a funny read aloud picture book with so many details of storytelling. It is playful, suspenseful, laugh out loud funny.”

“The author makes up her own language but you and your child can figure out what she’s saying the more you read it. Gorgeous illustrations and a sweet story.”
