Is this just pink painter’s tape? Ie will come off walls easily? If so, I’m about to start taping up all my kids’ art with this stuff!

It’s a little different from painters tape, texture-wise, but I will say that I have never had an issue with it damaging a surface. Definitely do a test run somewhere out of the way on your own wall paint situation first, but it will likely be perfect for this task!
