My friends and I have been joking that Kraus intended to write the most unadaptable book possible. A spaceship that looks like human organs, a people plagued by killer ingrown hairs, a being in a onesie called a Murder? This doesn’t scratch the surface and I haven’t even told you about the chosen one child who is sent to her death. One of the darkest books I’ve read this year. Check cw.
