This book seems cheesy (maybe it is), a friend gave it to me when I was trying to figure out my career path and it helped me with how to think about what I was looking for (what was important to me about a work environment, etc.). I managed to find a good fit and have been on the same track for 10 yrs since. Bonus tips: meet with lost of people and ask about their current roles and career journeys for what resonates, cover a table with a big piece of paper and map out options with pros and cons.
