folkehuset absalon: every city needs an absalon! this place is one part cafe, one part community center, 100% amazing. they have all sorts of events, but my favorite thing is their nightly meals that you can buy tickets to in advance and then when you arrive you’re seated at long tables interspersed with strangers who quickly become friends. the food was good and the company was even better!

Poulette: Delish fried chicken sandwich, located right next to a fantastic coffee shop. Grab a cardamom bun from Andersen & Maillard (not the best ones to be had—that would probably be Juno—but you’re right there so why not), a sando from Poulette, and then explore Assistens Cemetery nearby! Léanowski is not far either and is definitely a bar worth going to.
