weed by tony matelli

Very Carrie

“From Brooke: “Tony Matelli’s Weed sculptures look like actual weeds growing out of the floor. They’re cast in bronze and painted to look insanely real. In art school, we would have said they’re about resilience and the tension between nature and society or something like that. I don’t know, they’re funny!””
