Travel through the redwoods along the Noyo river on railbikes.
We learned about the old commuter and mail route that the railway once served as, and were able to see some of the sweet old cottages and communities that line the railway and are otherwise well hidden. There are also several river crossings where we were able to see river otters playing.
Once you surrender to the cost, it's a hysterical, silly, giggly, beautiful time. We did it a few years ago for a birthday. Highly recommend.
