Tenth of December by George Saunders

Visceral, humorous, and what feels very American. He does such a great job at writing stories from the POV of the troubled or disenfranchised, viewpoints I feel like I don’t often read from, yet feel so familiar. I laugh out loud as much as I cry reading these.
