The best way to discover a new city : When you’re in a new mid size city and have a day long to discover it : pick your 1st stop the farthest from your hotel : go there by taxi or public transportation and then just walk your way back home - have some a few touristy spots along the way but really just walk through neighborhoods, find the restaurants where locals eat, look at locals living their daily life, stop in a park to rest… and then enjoy coming back home to your hotel room full of lovely memories.
