🍴 Tonkatsu Yamabe とんかつ山家 上野店

A very delicious tonkatsu spot in Ueno where you can get a lunch set for around ¥900. It's one Ueno's (which happens to be the birthplace of the tonkatsu we know today) most popular tonkatsu spots where your set comes with thick-cut loin cutlet, miso soup, delicious shijimi clam soup, pickles, and a mountain of shredded cabbage. There will probably be a line when you get there, but it moves fairly quickly and is worth the wait.
