TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh - Lawrenceville

I hate the name TRYP and they continue that Y nonsense for other things ("Hygh speed internet," etc.), but I really liked this hotel otherwise. It is a former vocational school building and they have a lot of stuff in it that I assume came from there, and the neighobrhood (Lawrenceville) is awesome—good food, bars, etc., and pretty convenient. And I think it was like $150/night all in. They have a roof-top bar I didn't get to because it was raining most of the time. The room was fine if unspectacular, but still leaned into the vocational theme.

Being a Wyndham and a mid-range brand, they are real interested in making you pay like $50 for an early check-in.
