Recommendations for getting into sailing while living in Manhattan?

Sailing School - Atlantic Yachting: My husband grew up sailing; I very much did not. These folks trained me up and got me ready for our bareboating honeymoon in the Caribbean. I believe that once you hold some of their early certifications you can also rent their boats for extra practice.

My old coworker in nyc did this in 2020  :): I’m not a sailer, but I have a badass old coworker who gave up her corporate life to sail full time. She probably has some great tips :) will share her website if you’d like to contact!

Take a Boating Safety Course: I’ve never operated a boat, but I did earn my safety certificate. This class is free in NYC.
