I recommend The Compleat Angler Or The Contemplative Man’s Recreation.

Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton first published this book in 1653, and the dialogue may seem antiquated but since the topic is fishing, and well, not so much has changed in the fishing world, still a profound read. And I tend to reread it when it’s much too cold to fish.
