From July 2018, Sam Sifton of NYT Cooking fame recommended grilling books for the aspiring outdoor cook. The only recommendation I can add is Mark Bittman’s How To Grill Everything which came out in May 2018.

These really are Hall of Fame-level grilling books. I own all three and the Bittman, and I use them often as a source of creativity and inspiration. My favorites are from Steve Raichlen and Mark Bittman, but there is plenty to enjoy in the other books, as well.
