STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN on Instagram: "Introducing three new works to the GLASS Collection by Clive Lonstein Coffee table, bench and table lamp Year 2026 Bronze Topaz Cast Glass America Architect and designer Clive Lonstein brings a refined sensibility to material and form, blending the precision of architecture with the poetics of light and texture. Guided by a minimalist philosophy rooted in richness and restraint, his work reflects a deep appreciation for timeless materials and the quiet power of design. Launched in 2025, Lonstein’s Glass collection introduced a refined approach to custom cast glass furniture. The collection is a carefully curated exploration of materiality, form, and function. Lonstein’s design philosophy is rooted in the idea of creating classic, durable pieces that resonate across different aesthetics. The organic quality, timeless durability, and versatility of glass allows each work to seamlessly enhance traditional, modern, and avant-garde spaces alike. Lonstein’s minimalist approach is evident throughout the collection, with simple yet substantial forms that elevate the everyday object. By working with glass in its purest state, he emphasizes the depth of the material, balancing simplicity with rich complexity. Drawing from his architectural background, Lonstein incorporates a sense of geometric precision in his designs. The collection features offset geometries, diagonals, zig-zags, and irregular shapes—elements that imbue the furniture with both architectural structure and organic fluidity. The works are designed not just to be visually striking but to create harmonious seating arrangements that contribute to a more connected space. Light also plays a crucial role in the collection, as Lonstein is captivated by the way glass interacts with its environment. This dynamic quality—the way surrounding conditions change the appearance of glass—adds depth and ensures that each piece remains engaging in any setting. In strictly limited edition, each work is made from thick, natural molten glass, ensuring longevity without the need for unnecessary embellishments. 📍On View Spring 26 STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN New York Gallery 241 Church Street, New York, NY By Appointment Only"
