Pushing Daisies

In need of good scripted tv to dive into. I’m an actor, husband is a writer, so it’s gotta be quality. We’ve watched the big, obvious ones. Not hot on franchises, procedurals, standard network fare. What are your snobby, smarty, oddball favorites? International is fine, we’ll spring for an obscure streamer if it’s worth it.

This was network (ABC) but truly oddball and quirky and weird. 2007-2009 victim to the writers strike.

“This was such a quirky, bright show with a unique premise. A visual stunner, it was almost a proto-Parks and Rec/Widow's Bay with its morbid edge. I like to think it put Lee Pace on the map - well, at least on my map!”
