Swedish rags smells

What is everyones kitchen counter wiping situation? I loathe my set up. Currently a rotation of cheapy micro cloth rags that hang over faucet & get smelly fast. I wash often but I’m just wondering if there’s a wonder rag or a way thats superior. Is this obvious ?! Thanks in advance.
