His ability to connect the ways joy and sorrow dance together is something special. His poems are often not short and sweet, but rather he takes you on a journey that guides you in experiencing all the everyday moments and bits of life through a lens of awe and wonder.

All of his books are phenomenal but I have a special place in my heart for Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude.
