Every year around this time I YEARN to go back to school shopping even though I’m a grown ass adult. I may snag myself a new stationary item or clothing piece in memory of these wonderful times as a kid. The new school supplies… sneakers… even when unable to get much, it always felt so special.

Ugh yes I’ve never felt more alive than I have in a Staples trying to convince my mom to let me buy the pretty notebook!!

I still remember the year my mom caved and allowed me to pick a few ✨special✨ pencils at the Sanrio store. I can practically smell the plasticky strawberry scent of those erasers! 🥲

OMG. This just teleported me back- SCENTED PENCILS. Never forget. And the center markers too... Slap on a squishy pencil grip and I felt like a star.

SQUISHY PENCIL GRIPS! Those were the best. I had an amazing teacher and she kept a stash of those to give out as little prizes for good deeds. 🥰 Take me back!
