Le Creuset Cloche Kettle

Piggy backing on the le creuset entry up top. We love her. For some reason when my sister went to the outlet to get it for me they made fun of her for wanting gold hardware?? Any le creuset heads out there know about the politics of hardware color? Been dying to know.
