The Fifth Season (N.K. Jemisin)
The book that made me an NK Jemisin fan. The book I recommend to people who think they don’t like speculative fiction or sci-fi and this converts them.

“Storytelling at its very best”
Grace Roberts
“Ready to argue this as the greatest contemporary science fiction novel of the 21st century. It is compulsively readable (anyone who reads sci-fi knows this is fairly rare for the territory), the world-building is brilliant, and it’s just an incredibly epic story. Every time I rec to someone I have to stress just how digestible it is; you’ll blow through the trilogy in a week or two.”
Swede
“This series is so good. The world building and premise is just ::chef’s kiss::”
