The Secret of Roan Inish

Syd Sidney

“A gorgeous film that felt like a classic the moment it came out and got all of the kids speaking in Irish brogues around the house. A little tense with the child floating away, but ultimately the beautiful storytelling keeps it calm.”

“I just taught a lymphatic and fascial class this morning called Seawaters after a moment on the beach last week. I was completely alone, the only one of a densely fogged beach. As I walked towards the waters edge, I felt this CRAVING to step out of my human skin and into my seal body. I'm no stranger to Selkie's. My mom introduced me to this movie when I was a little girl and it has become a sort”

“A classic. Bonus points for excellent knitwear”
