Ilovecreatives Online Courses

in response to Shannon Case

Looking for inspiration/advice (or warnings!) about midlife career changes. After a year of job searching post-layoff, feels like the necessary move but also daunting!

I’m also navigating a career pivot. I felt like going back to school was more than I could manage right now and took a course with ilovecreatives to expand my skill set. It’s completely self-paced with real designers reviewing your assignments and giving feedback as you go. It’s also an awesome built in network on the discord channel where you can ask for general advice and read others questions/answers. Totally worth it!

This is awesome! I’ve also been considering going back to school but can not stomach the idea of more student loans 🤑

I’m going back and doing an undergrad suny program (ny state college) and it’s like $7K/year. I’m super nervous to be the old lady in class but proudly said F NO to another student loan.
