Job Ideas? I am an interior design student, applying for entry level jobs. I need ideas on design-adjacent positions; like organizing, closet fabrication companies (think California Closets). I’ve applied to all jobs in this realm in my area for the time being (St. Louis),but no luck so far. I’ve been racking my brain and could use some help! Any ideas?

Would you ever consider visual merchandising retail roles? It's great experience for creating structure, organization and visual interest within a space. Particularly, any home or lifestyle brands would lend itself well to interior design and often have styling roles that work directly with clients. And as an extension, maybe even window display could be an option too :)

What a great idea! That sounds like so much fun! I’ll have to do more research on visual merchandising, and what roles I could possibly get coming from that angle. Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment!
