Easy Prey by Moderat & This July 2026 Astrological Moment

This is a beautiful and powerfully moving song from one of my favorite electronic groups, Moderat, paired with its equally moving official video.

It’s also a piece of art that really nails the collective psychological and emotional tension slowly building toward the Jupiter-Pluto opposition, which goes exact on July 20th.

While the video evokes the more “dystopian,” shadow-y side of Pluto in Aquarius, that picture of the future should be considered neither permanent nor inevitable.

In fact, it’s in the sober recognition of the state of the world around us (and the inner emotional experience we can no longer look away from) that creative individual and collective responses take root.
