Yes, these are a real berry for those of you not in the PNW. :) Small and sweet, found only at a certain elevation making them a fun hiking destination also.

Hells yes! These look like mountain huckleberries? I've only ever seen these from purveyors when I worked in the restaurant industry, but we have coastal huckleberries all over here in the Bay Area/NorCal. My very favorite berry!
