I know it may be easier or more organized to store your recipes in a digital way these days, but there’s nothing quite like a handwritten recipe. There’s a connection with it, from the person through the food, to you. In their handwriting, with ingredients splattered across it from years of making. A signature dish you associate with that person, memories made together making or enjoying it. I always say my stack of family recipe cards that I inherited is my most treasured family heirloom.
