Jayber Crow by Wendell Berry

I have long-loved Berry’s collected poems but reading one of his novels was such a delight. Infused with his critique of modernism through a sense of humor as we follow the life of a bachelor in the fictional town of Port William. This made me reflect on a sense of place and the people that constitute it.
