I first heard about these at a grad school colleagues house. She had the most lavish Persian dinners and pre goodbye tea hours and I was enchanted. She introduced me to these and they are so hard for me to find IRL.

i’m obsessed with persian fruit leather. I’ve always had a lot of persian friends and grew up eating this. It’s a perfect “healthy” sour candy with a little bit salinity. I like cutting it in strips and rolling it up. You’ll see it a lot during the persian new year, nowruz.
