Uptown Girls (2003)

B. Murphy fans. Dakota Fanning fans. Eldest daughters, parentified or neglected children. This may be your comfort movie. I love the colors in this movie. I was a lot like the little girl when I was younger but less intense so it makes me laugh as a now type b adult.

“This movie is bittersweet. We look at the perspectives of both a young adult and a child going through the struggles of grief.”
